  • Box Office Manager

    Full-time
    We're hiring a Box Office Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for putting tickets on sale in TicketWeb, selling tickets at the Box Office, resolving ticketing issues, and assisting with events, social media, and office administration. Approx. 40 hours a week. Must be able to work Tuesdays 3-6:30pm, nights, weekends, and holidays.
    Role
    • Organize/Manage daily & nightly Box Office operations (Will Call, Guest List, Ticket Sales, Ticket Scanning, etc.)
    • Exhibit proper inter-departmental communications and organization.
    • Assist Management with Box Office-related procedures and duties.
    • Ensure complete and satisfactory ongoing staff training
    • Reconcile and record daily box office sales and reports.
    • Assist in ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
    • Manage Will Call lists.
    • Add ticket links to website and social media outlets.
    • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
    • Balance and reconciliation of all seller cash drawers.
    • Assist Manager with reconciliation & accounting of all ticket sales for each ticketed event and daily Box Office Sales.
    • Assist Manager in scheduling all employee payroll prior to deadlines.
    • Conduct band settlement on shows with split point deals, or when deemed necessary by management.
    • Complete and distribute accurate daily ticket counts for agents and artists.
    • Develop and maintain call center phone system, and keep current all phone menus and calendars of events.
    • Interact with artists, record labels, management, and band tour accountant. Provide reports as necessary.
    Requirements
    • One year of experience in an administrative or customer service role.
    • Computer and cash handling experience.
    • Previous Ticketing experience is a plus.
    • Flexible Schedule (days/nights, weekends, and holidays)
    • High School Diploma or higher.
  • Ticket Taker/Greeter

    Part-time
    Ticket takers/greeters are responsible for providing excellent guest services at District 142 including greeting guests, providing information and directions, assisting with problems/issues, and controlling ticket access points at the entrance to the venue.
    Role
    • Greet guests and scan tickets upon entry to the venue.
    • Assist guests with ADA seating accommodation requests.
    • Answer guest inquiries and provide direction to restrooms, concessions, patio, etc.
    • Work inside coat check during winter/cold months.
    • Deliver exemplary customer service to maintain customer loyalty.
    • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
    • Other tasks as assigned by management.
    Requirements
    • Must be able to work long and late shifts.
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
    • You may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the venue.
    • Must have flexible schedule (days/nights, weekends, and holidays).
    • Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.
    • At least 1-year experience in customer service/guest services role preferred.
    • Customer service friendly attitude, and a desire to create a great environment for our guests.
    • Ability to communicate and work well with others in a loud, fast-paced, and sometimes stressful environment.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance.
  • Event Coordinator

    Part-time
    As the event coordinator you will assist management with all aspects of coordinating live events. You'll plan and execute events inside and outside the venue.
    Roles
    • Support Management in coordination of all aspects of operational set-up and breakdown events (equipment needs, rental items, floor plan layouts, physically set tables, chairs, etc).
    • Provides administrative support and assist with Managers as needed,
    • Day of event execution.
    • Keep venue calendars up to date.
    • Maintain files in proper order.
    • Proper execution and completion of all posts event paperwork.
    • Assist with purchasing and / ordering all rider items.
    • Coordinate transportation for entertainment.
    • Secure hotel rooms for entertainment.
    • Set up dressing rooms.
    • Program TVs and Marquee
    • Responded to venue emails and phone calls.
    • Other tasks as assigned by management.
    Requirements
    • Must be able to work up to 12-14 hours per shift
    • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
    • You may be required to work various scheduled to reflect the business needs of the venue.
    • Tolerance of all cultures, music and art form.
    • Must have flexible schedule (days/nights, weekends, and holidays)
    • Must have upbeat personality, have great guest relations skill and etiquette.
    • Basic Mathematical skills.
    • Due to the hours scheduled applicants must have a reliable transportation.
    • Must have computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excell, PowerPoint and Google Docs.
    • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with considerable noise and interruptions.
    • High School Diploma; College degree and prior event planning experience preferred.
    • Exhibits positive attitudes; excellent written and verbal communication; high level of organizational and follow-through skills; communicates assertively; maintains personal integrity.
    • Ability to handle various projects at one time make good decisions; delegates; follow up; communicate with staff and guests in a positive manner.
