District 142
Born from a combination of the underground seedy bar scene, basements, festivals, stadiums, and the high end jazz clubs of Detroit - This groove-dripping group of seven, sometimes eight, guys strive for every show to be both a musical out-of-body experience, AND a raging party. Strictly Fine brings a unique and powerful sound to the stage with each show. Their music spans the sounds of Motown, James Brown, Tower of Power, P-Funk, Blue Note, and even Louis Armstrong. Each member has a sound all their own, coming together to create a sound greater than the sum of their parts.
